She completed her post graduate training in ophthalmology from GMCH Chandigarh and has done her fellowship & training in Vitreo Retinal Surgery from the prestigious LVPEI Hyderabad , Dr. RP Centre AIIMS and NHS Hospital Trust, Wakefield U.K.

She is a recipient of the P.K PANDEY gold medal, Mohan Lal gold medal (UPSOS), Best Graduate award and the prestigious A.C Aggarwal Trophy ( Delhi Ophthalmic Society), She has publications in indexed national and international journals.

She has been faculty ,has conducted and moderated several scientific sessions in numerous national and international conferences
